Problem with manager. We are regular customers at Asia Star. We live in a nearby senior community and visit the restaurant with our friend and neighbors frequently. Recently, we had a very distateful experience. I brought my family to celebrate one of our grand children’s birthday. Another one of my grandchildren has a eating disorder and we must bring special food when we eat out. The waitress and the manager both said we could not bring in food from the outside. Not only was in in poor taste, but my grandson was embarresed and upset. This has never happened before aqnd we have taken to him some very nice restaurant. The manager said that people can not bring in outside food saying that people bring in pizza and it is not permitted. I can understand that but that certainly not our situation. We will never return and will tell our friend and neighbors of this experience.
