I do not recommend!. I thought I would give this cafe another try even though my gut feeling was telling me it was not a good idea..and I was right..We don’t have much in the way of decent restaurants/cafe’s in the Toms River area, mostly chains, so choices are few..I was entertaining a family member who was visiting and was having a hard time choosing a place to have lunch..It’s been a year since I had first patronized Cool Beans and hoped there would have been an improvement not only in their limited and mundane menu but also in the service..There wasn’t..The service was the same as I experienced before, slow as molasses..I was appalled at being charged $9.00 for a grilled cheese sandwich ( the dollar extra was for the tomato) to which I could have gotten a better tasting sandwich at a decent price across the way at Friendly’s..The waiter thought himself a comedian and spent way to much time trying to be amusing (so he thought) and I had to recite the order several times as he was not getting it right..He also had an odor about him which made for an even more unpleasant experience..Look, I also waitressed at one time and there is no excuse for smelling bad..Just a suggestion, some cologne or after shave goes a long way..

Alway, always great!!!!. We discovered Cool Beans when we were given a gift certificate. It is cozy, inviting and we continue to go back as the food is prepared with healthy ingredients. The prices are great…think the pizzas are great with their thin crust. And the sugar-free cheesecake is so yummy. Service is wonderful. Not anything I would change. Do not miss it.
Great Place!!!…<3. I have been affiliated with Cool Beans Coffee House for 12 years now and have been enjoying the food there also, which is very good. Everyone in my family all have our favorite dishes that we look forward to enjoying on a regular basis. The atmosphere in Cool Beans is Fun, light hearted and very much enjoyable. The staff is always in an upbeat mood making your dining experience that much more positive. No wonder there are so many regulars that continually keep coming back. It's such a great place to meet with family or friends to just kick-back and enjoy some great food and have a great time.
