Wow. I’m not a big fan of buffets: long waits, people touching the food, etc. On the other hand, Fortune buffet was outstanding! I wanted to try it since its been recommended by my friend and I’m glad I went. They have cheap prices and a great selection of yummy food. To contrary beliefs, Fortune buffet is not dirty at all! It is well kept and the employees and very nice. I am so glad that I tried this place. I would give it 4 1/2 out of five stars.
VERY RUDE!!!. If you ever ate at Fortune Buffet you know at times they can get very busy with a long wait. My husband, mysleft and 2 other couples got there at 2:30 for lunch on a Sunday. On the weekend theyre dinner menu pricing starts at 3:30 – about $6 more per person than the lunch price. We got sat after almost an hour wait at 3:20- when the hostess stated that we will be charged for dinner prices! Believe me, I have no problem paying more if we had just gotten there or if it was past 3:30, but we didnt and it wasnt- so we all walked out!!!!!! It was the whole principal of being there since 2:30 (way before dinner pricing began) & them feeling they could get away with charging a higher price, when it should not have been. When leaving all of us made is known how dissapointed we were that in a time where customer service should matter most- this business definitely showed NONE!!
FORTUNE FUN. Fortune Buffet is perfect from the walk in the front door to the way you roll out the front when you overstuff yourself with the excellent food inside. My favorite part of the selection is the mongolian grill which gives you the ability to pick the amount of chicke, pork, beef, or shrimp you want to add to your plate. Then you can add an assortment of fresh veggies and spices to then watch it be cooked to perfection right in front of you. If that isn’t your cup of tea, there is an always fresh selection of all types of chinese food, American type selections such as steak or pizza or some sort of fried chicken with maybe fries. There is a fully serviceable sushi bar, and after gorging yourself with all of the above you can choose from an extensive dessert bar, large choice of ice cream. Overall everything there tastes great, the service is friendly, and the assortment is always fresh! If there is one thing I would recommend they work on there is the parking lot is a little cramped, but other than that the bufet gets an A+++++.

Consistently Excellent. Fortune Buffet has quickly become my favorite restaurant. The crab legs, shrimp, mussels, clams and oysters are always fresh and delicious. I always go there when I’m in the mood for Chinese food buy I can’t seem to get past the seafood. Well worth any wait.
Sushi smelled funny. Not nearly as good as Diversity Buffet in Toms River. Will not return.
