Over two hour wait!!!. I had placed a delivery order on a Wendsday night and was told that it would be an hour before the order arrived to me. That was fine with me. When an hour and half rolled around, I called the restaurant to see when it would be arriving. I was told by the girl that answered that the driver just left with my order and should be there in a few minutes. Another half hour passes and still, no delivery. I called the restaurant and they wanted to know if I would wait for the order or cancel. I told the girl I would give the driver a few more minutes. I was then contacted back a few minutes later by the restaurant to see if the driver arrived. It seems that they could not get ahold of him. Still no order. At the two hour mark, I called the restaurant and said that if the driver showed up I would like it comped. I was then told that was not possible and would I like to cancel the order. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from Tony’s Pasta House ever again.
Response to last review. This is in response to the last review. The way Noodle Night works is that every Mon and Wed you can get a 3 course dinner for $10.95. This special price is dine in only. Restaurants do these specials all the time to get diners to come in instead of just getting take out. It’s the same as when a restaurant writes on a coupon Dine-In only. The reason restaurants are able to do these special prices (Noodle Night, Early Bird, ect) is because the overhead is lower than when a customer gets take-out. So the reason this diner was told they could not take their dessert home was because the special price is that price because we don’t have to use supplies that cost more money. For example, if this customer wanted to take the dessert home, we would need to use a take out container and bag. These supplies are not free for restaurants so by eliminating those items, we are able to offer meals at a great price. We do allow people to take home their left over dinners, which again, means using a container and bag. However, how many take out supplies should we offer for a eat in special price? After all, a buffet doesn’t let you wrap up food you haven’t eaten for these same reason. So why should we be expected to.
Good quality food at a reasonable price. I was surprised by the extensive menu; fantastic selection. They don’t serve beer or wine, but you can bring your own.
This is the Place for Italian Food. If you want real Italian food, then Tony’s is the only place in Toms River that has it. From a simple slice of pizza to a to a full blown meal, this place never disappoints. The menu has a variety of options to please everyone and if you leave this place hungry, you’ll have only yourself to blame.
Great restaurant you will not be disappointed. Warm bread and Seasoned olive oil for dipping is brought out quickly. Big portions and the food is delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and checked on our progress. Great Italian American cuisine, like being at home. My double espresso was good but could have been hotter. The desserts were a delicious sweet treat at the end, my girlfiend and I plan to return regularly.
Fab Food at Fab Prices. If your looking for fantastic food at a fantastic price the The Pasta House is the place for you. This family friendly establishment offers daily specials that are always worth checking out. The Lubranos are a couple who take food seriously and do whatever is required to make sure your meal is nothing but wonderful! I had my husbands birthday dinner there and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Its BYOB and you can also grab a slice of pizza if you are not in the mood for a full dinner. I highly reccomend that you check this place out.
Fabulous Home Made Italian Food. We absolutely love this place! You can dine on Pizza or have a full course dinner. Everything is freshly prepared and the specials are wonderful. Have you ever tried the desserts? Yum!!!!! My family and I have had our parties catered by Ton’ys Pasta House. Our guests raved about the food! We honestly can recommend this restaurant for a great meal and wondersul service.
