They really need to reevaluate management … Was there two weeks ago and a planter was pushed onto my friends head hurting her neck … Management was rude and not helpful at all … Tried again tonight and they never have any wine in stock .. Called the manager over again and tried to order another bottle at the original bottles price … He had a nasty attitude and rude !! Too loud and horrible service ..

Sad Customer. Wow, so so very sad to see so many of your menu items taken off! every one was my favorit and highly recommended to all friends and family, as well as my last dinning was so not upto par. Sad, just very sad! I always said you are the number one place and I am very very picky about my food, its so hard to go anywhere in Toms River and enjoy my meal until you opened…now I have to cook myself to get the great quality and enjoyable meal…sad, very sad!

Tuscan House has arrived!. Tony Z’s review really hit the mark! The menu is great with reasonable prices. Besides the dishes he mentioned, other favorites are the rice balls, calamari, spinaci salad, planked roasted fish and the Osso Buco over polenta. There’s really something for everyone. Great atmosphere and terrific staff.

Beautiful Scene in Otherwise Vast Wasteland. Toms River is not exactly none for it’s hip dining, but the Tuscan House is trying to change that. The building is, by all accounts, a lovely, Craftsman-inspired hacienda with a lovely waiting/seating area with a fireplace that can be opened to the elements on a nice day. The bar is beautiful, and the dining rooms cozy. My son loves sitting by the pizza oven. The other positive is that they cater to kids as well as adults-and they have done a great job in making it feel somewhat sophisticated but not so much so that you can’t bring the little ones. Giving kids a hunk of pizza dough to play with is an inspired idea. The food can be hit or miss, but mostly we have enjoyed our dishes. The Italian mac-n-cheese is awesome, and the dessert pizzas are worth the trip alone. We find service is (almost) always spot-on!

Look 10 – Food 5. Had lunch at the new Tuscan House in Toms River, NJ. I loved the look of the place. I was impressed with the waiting room w/fireplace and comfort, wine tasting area etc. Unfortunately, the food was ok nothing to rave about. I had fried ravoli for the appetizer which was good, then a veggie panini which was tasty but kinda greasy it came with a side dish of pasta salad of hard pasta not cooked enough and a regular salad that looked like the leftovers of a lonely head of iceberg. A Italian Place using iceberg, not good. Oh the bread not bread but strips of pita maybe with garlic powder once again ok but should be good italian hot bread. Ok now end of the meal, italian coffee which was luke warm. Found out trouble with their machine, got another one and still not as hot as I would like. I will give thumbs up to the service, our waitress Mona was very friendly. So lunch not bad but not great. I hope they improve. Need to look towards a new chef to justify the prices. Also have a liquor store attached with mostly wines including their own but the prices over the top. You can go to your local place for cheapier.
