Heathy Breakfast Heaven!. Many wonderful options for breakfast and lunch. I will be back. Great selection, value, taste, portions, service, and presentation! Win-win!
Winter blahs addressed. The folks at Lisa’s have been very interested in our problems and I am confident that, going forward, the old, great standards will resume.15 Feb, 2013Winter blahs at Lisa’s. We order at least every 10 days. Last week – horrendous. We complained and were told the next time we came in we would get $20 off. First, we get delivery. Second, we want good food, not money. We tried again and it was equally awful.Apparently Lisa has either sold her business or gone away for the winter. I the first case she should take her name off that house of swill. If she is merely away, she should HANG her head in SHAME.Either watt, take that $20 and stick it.

This place is phenomenal! I have not had a bad meal there yet!
A little too early for breakfast…try lunch or dinner. Had tried Lisa’s for their can’t miss brick oven thin crust pizza a bunch of times and decided to give their breakfast a shot. Lisa’s (the little sister restaurant to Sage) was transformed from Lisa’s Italian Market to a full service casual restaaurant open for breakfast, lunch & dinner this past Spring.Situated in Ventnor’s Restaurant Row, Lisa’s offers both outdoor and indoor dining. Breakfast selections range from basic eggs, omeletes, oatmeal, and lox platters to stuffed french toast. Service though friendly is very slow. Having worked in restaurants all my life I realize that this is not the fault of the servers but rather the kitchen staff is overwhelmed. Overhearing an adjacent table try to make a change to the menu and being told that there was only one cook preparing breakfast confirmed my suspicion. The italian sausage omelette with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese was served lukewarm with even colder halfed new potatoes dressed with an overabundance of paprika. Scrambled eggs served with the same cold potatoes was accompanied by burnt to the point of being black bacon.I would stay clear of Lisa’s for breakfast and consider stopping by a little later for lunch or dinner.
