Although the Caesar salad was outstanding, everything else was blah. The shrimp cocktail was frozen (despicable for a seafood place), and the crab Mac was very ordinary. I can make it in my kitchen with little effort and my cheese would have consistency to it.
Service was so so, had a long wait with an empty restaurant, only had oysters, they were excellent
I actually like this place regardless of it being a chain. The food is good. I recommend the spinach crab dip in the bread bowl….. Wow. Delicious. And the soups are really good as well. I like this place for lunch.
Excellent. Ambiance and service were awesome. The quality of the food here is exceptional! Had the linguini with shrimp, and a friend had the lobster which was awessssssome…..fairly priced dishes as well. Recommended!
Went here with a group of nine people for a friends party. We had reservations so seating was no problem. Service was very good and our waiter checked on us quite a bit. While the food tasted great the portions were insanely small for the price. I got the famous crab cakes. For $30 I expected a little more than I got. It came with two moderately small crab cakes, no big deal, but the side of potato gratine was smaller than the crab cakes. Since when is a side barely bigger than a half dollar coin? I will stick with the other Phillips locations.
Service was poor. Waited quite a while before our order was taken. Had to order our drinks twice.
Best Boardwalk Happy Hour. Strolling through Pier Shops at Caesars on the third floor are about a half dozen restaurants. But the $4 happy Hour at the bar grabbed our attention. From 4 to 7 drinks, crabcake sliders, buffalo shrimp and wings are all 4 bucks. Had to have a bowl of Lobster Bisque to start and then the sliders, which came with fries, and 6 buffalo shrimp. Conversation with fellow bar folks we found out oysters and shrimp were a buck each too. Hadn’t a plan for dinner but after a couple of drinks and the variety of happy hour specials we were stuffed and pleased with everything we had. The Buffalo Sauce was Pretty hot so watch out.
