Never ever again. The last time I had the misfortune of going to Applebee’s was the worst experience in a restaurant ever. The food was SO salty that neither my wife or myself could even eat our steaks.. We were told that they come in pre-packaged (another mistake), and marinated in some kind of mystery marinade. The clam chowder was extremely salty-the fries must have had a shaker on salt on them. My wife’s mashed potatoes were too salty also. We were told that they’d replace our food with other dishes, but by then it was too little too late. Maybe this is supposed to be an exception, but it wasn’t the first time we’d gotten poor menu items there. So I gave them 2 different chances on 2 occasions and never again.

Thre are better choices in Vineland. This is an o.k. chain place – but why would anyone choose it in a town brim-full of independent, owner-operated places with eclectic menus that outshine the ordinary American pub grub served here? It’s indistinguishable from Ruby’s or any other of that ilk. Fer gawdsakes, go to The Neptune or Maplewood or Martino’s or Marciano’s or The Cosmopolitan and buy local.
