Hit or miss… Have gone here a few times.. at first it was good, with a few misses here and there… now more and more there have been misses and we’ve stopped going.. even their cheesecake, which is the best I have ever had (and I’ve had quite a bit all over) was not even set up completely last time we got it and the bottom was liquidy and inedible… what a shame.
OK place. The locals hang here for the most part. The food is good solid American food. The salad bar is fresh and constantly stocked. Some much needed repairs were done to the too hard booth seats recently. Now if they could replace the dirty carpet in the dining area, the floor would look at little better too.
Well, if it’s Italian you want – choose someplace else. Larry’s is reliable, clean, and has decent service. The menu is more traditional American diner fare than Italian… This is an Italian town – practically every place here serves SOME kind of Italian – but I have never seen evidence that Larry’s specializes in it…. so why criticize it for that? The desserts are great, the salad bar fine, the weekend breakfast buffet has wonderful bacon and is loaded with choices… you can get lattes and cappucinos and blueberry pancakes every day..they offer special variations on Eggs Benedict – like E.B. with Crab – every so often. That is a Good Thing! This is where Vineland folks eat when they aren’t inspired to go somewhere else – sorta like your Mom’s house.
