  Definitely good pub fare. I had the fish and chips which came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. The fish was most and flakey inside , perfectly cruchuand crispy outside

  FOOD WAS AS GOOD AS ANY PUB IN IRELAND THAT I HAVE EATEN IN. This restaurant is significanty larger and better decorated than any pub in Ireland but the Irish dishes are better than the pub food there. Admittedly not Irish, we shared the cheese steak eggrolls which were ok. My wife had the Guiness beef stew which she enjoyed. I had the shepherds pie which was probably the best I’ve had. Of course we had to finish with Irish coffees.

  3 out of 5 stars.. I’m going right down the middle for this review as there are definitely good points and poor points to address.We arrived here last Sunday the 4th of Dec. with a party of 10. That’s 8 adults and 2 children under 7. I would say the entire restaurant was about 25% full with most of the crowd around the bar or in the main dining room. A reservation had been made in advance for the dining room yet some how we ended up on the lounge side of the bar instead.We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken and we received them back a few minutes later. At this point, we placed our order for 3 different appetizers and our waiter ‘Anthony’ disappeared. We didn’t really notice it at first until everyone’s first round of drinks bottomed out. There’s no waiter coming by and we’re still waiting to order food and get utensils. On top of that, the place is starting to fill up.It’s been close to 45 minutes since we arrived and fortunately the manager came by the table and asked how things were. We let him know we’d like to have our apps and order our main course, we haven’t seen our waiter. The manager, who’s name I didn’t catch, was johnny on the spot. He took our refill drink orders right there and and also the order for the kids dinners. Anthony returned a few minutes later and took our dinner order. Apparently Anthony had his ass chewed. He was a robot the rest of our visit.Less than 10 minutes later our app’s arrived along with the kids Mac & Cheese too. I sampled two of the apps and they were pretty good. The first one was the Bangers Wonton which was Irish Sausage & onion wrapped in Wonton then fried. Very good, especially with the HP sauce. The other app I tried was the Chicken Nacho’s which tasted like a jerk chicken that had plenty of cheese and jalapeno’s as well. Very tasty.Our main course arrived shortly after the apps were finished. I had the Guinness Meatloaf, as did my brother. The meatloaf was a mixture of lamb, beef and pork, Guinness, onion, spices, etc… It was delicious and piled on top mashed potatoes and covered in gravy. There were also some veggies on the side. Was the bomb! Also on the table were Bangers & Mash and a whole bunch of Rueben’s.All in all, once the manager came by and got the ball rolling it was alright. He definitely saved the experience. Anthony the waiter needs to work on his sense of urgency or find something else to do other than work in the restaurant industry.
