Insulting. My husband and I have been patrons of The Library II for nearly 40 years-that’s right-we came there in the 70’s before they began charging the prices they do now-we went there this evening hoping to have our usual 12 oz lobster tail and 16 oz filet which we share and then bring the leftovers home-we made a simple request and were laughed at by the hostess, waitress & busgirl- they were talking to each other right behind us-we do not plan to return nor do the numerous friends we have. What a shame-we’ve booked several birthday celebrations over the years,too. NEVER had a bad experience until this evening.
Decent Place. Visited for the first time on a Wednesday night. Nice atmosphere, particularly on the bar side of the restaurant. Not sure why you have to walk up to a window to place your food order when there are waiters, but no big deal. Nice salad bar. Nice wine list. The food is not inexpensive, but the crab cakes I had were tasty. Didn’t get a chance to try the steak so cannot comment on the value of a $45 steak. Free parking. Worth a try.
