Don’t Go. While Mattar’s Bistro may be one of the few decent restaurants in the area , I would eat at McDonalds before spending another dollar in this establishment. Mattar is very personable and charming to his patrons, but it is very disturbing how he treats his employees. I have never been more uncomfortable during a meal in my entire life. I don’t think it is ever appropriate to berate or humiliate an employee, but to do it in front of customers is cruel and unacceptable.
One of our favorites. Always wonderful service and terrific food. We love their burgers, fries and the pineapple fried rice. Yummy!
Love this place. Mattar’s has a wonderful atmosphere, the food was amazing and service was great. The only thing negative i have to say is when one of the staff spilled some liquid on me it would have been nice if they would offer to give use a discount. But besides that i agree with the other review Mattars is a good place,family friendly; food is great and reasonably priced.
Wonderfull experiance. I was there on this Friday food was amazing and services was the same. they never let you water glass get empty and your table is never full of unwanted dishes. Mattar is a great guy he meats everyone newbie or regular. I really have no idea where these bad review are coming from, they have no ground. They took very good care of me and my girlfriend. Thanks Mattar for the experience and i will be back soon.
Will never go again. I agree with the bad reviews of this restaurant. Horrible experience with the staff, waitinn forever for a table when told 20 minutes, Then the owner-OMG-so rude and disrespectful we just left. I’ve been there before and had a good expereince yet the last couple times I have been there it’s getting progressively worse and now I will never give them my business again
Bad experiene. I went to Mattars after a friend recommended it. I can’t imagine why. The owner was slimy and overly friendly. The female owner was acting as hostess. She was rude and condescending. She actually snapped at our beleagured server for trying to do her job. The food took a long time and was mediocre. The server was almost stifling in her attention especially since we had no food. I will not return.
Utterly disappointing. Food was horrible. First and last time there.
