Name outside says La Primavera. We were in the area trying to find a not crowded Italian place after an event. WE turned to Urbansoon and were not disappointed.A little $$ than we expected and either the name changed or a different restaurant moved in, because the listing for Reggiano’s had La Primavera’s address and we didn’t see another Italian place down the street where the other listing would have out La Primavera. The dining room was small with a cute bar. Mirrored walls in the back made the place seem bigger and the wait staff was excellent. We shared apps. Fried Calamari and a stuffed portobella – The Calamari was fresh not frozen..it was good, but the red sauce for dipping was even better! The stuffed mushroom app was served with a salad and filled to the brim with crab meat stuffing. A+ on that one.We all ordered various pasta dishes. Everyone was thrilled and only offered shares/tastes after we had inhaled about 1/2 our plates. All also ended up packing 1/2 half for lunches the next day so we could indulge in dessert. Of special note – Shrimp was cooked perfectly, eggplant was super thin and fried well not greasy or tons of breading, and the veal was able to be cut with a fork.Cheesecake and lava cake were the ordered desserts and they both rocked (I stole a bite or two of hubby’s Lava cake – next time I’m getting that!).
