Normally we go to the Oregon ave TL but the traffic after a flyers day game was so insane we opted to try this location. Bad move. My sons cheesesteak was the same but my roast pork, broccoli rabe and sharp came out somewhere between warm and cold. The cheese snapped when I’d bite into it. There’s only one state that cheese will snap and obviously only one state you should go to TL’s.
Like The Original. I had a Cheesesteak Italian with long hots and sharp provolone the other day. It was just like the Original on Oregon Ave. Juicy, tender and full of flavor. Cheesesteaks at pizza places are dry, burnt and bland. Once I tried Tony Luke’s cheesesteaks, I’ve never eaten another from a pizza place. You get what you pay for, so I’ll pay a couple of extra dollars for a Tony Luke’s Cheesesteak!!
Reputation and Name. Food is over priced and average. small but packed sandwiches for 9 dollars.Chicken cheese steak is whole piece chicken, not to my liking.Generally better cheesesteaks next door at Capri and hoagies are great at Matteos next door the other way
