I was here on Christmas Eve with my family totalling six. We were immediately shocked by the noise level which made convervation exhausting since you had to yell at each other. Making allowances for the fact that it was busy the service was appallingly bad. Two of us ordered the Prix Fix which was the Feast of the Seven Fish and everyone else had to be in synch with us so when we were not served no one was. We had to beg for every course none of which was worth eatting. How does an Italian restaurant serve pasta that is overcooked and gummy? My sisters green beans were brown from being reheated so many times. The final afront was the fried fish course which came out overcooked and nearly blackened thrown on a bare plate with no garnish or even a little veggie .
Mr. G. Went to Mulberry St for the first time and will never go again. My wife ordered the famous NYC chopped salad. This dish came out in a mold. It was brown in color and very very cold like it was defrosted from being in the freezer. Tasted terrible, I ordered the veal parmigiana. Sauce was from a Ragu jar..horrible and the veal was like card board smothered in cheese to hide the veal. Again the sauce was horrible.
We attempted to have Mother’s Day dinner here. We had a reservation for 6pm. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. Once we were seated, we weren’t given bread. We waited over an hour for our appetizers. The table next to us got their food after 2 hours and it was the wrong food. We ended up walking out. It’s safe to say that we’ll never return here. Horrible service.
Will not return! Go to Olive Garden for better Italian food
Mulberry street. What a great place !! Fantastic pizzas. My favorite is the shrimp fra diavolo although all of them are great. Ive eaten there a number of times now and they make great soups, fresh fish and more. House made desserts are awesome. If you go on Tuesdays you can take advantage of the bogo on pizza , beer and wine !!!! One of my new favorite places. Friendly staff makes your experience a positive one.
