Pat Kotsonis wants the patrons of his new restaurant, PKs Cafe, located at 51 Main Street in Woodbridge, to fall in love with his food. Having recently opened for dinner, completing the restaurants trifecta of breakfast, lunch and now dinner menu offerings, Kotsonis says he created his custom menu to be an eclectic array of cuisines pan-Asian, French, Mediterranean which combine the best qualities of each tradition into a tour de force American dining experience. Good food should be more than a meal; it should be an experience you cant wait to share with your friends. Thats what were doing at PKs Caf, explains Kotsonis, the restaurants owner and chef. Were making every bite an experience our diners cant wait to talk about with their friends. The downtown Woodbridge restaurant offers an inviting setting to commuters, pedestrians and the larger public to enjoy a casual dining experience at moderate prices, while boasting a remarkable culinary experience. His imaginative and diverse menu was designed with a broad palate in mind, offering a jumble of N.Y. Strip steak, homemade raviolis d jour, or confit Portobello mushroom layered with grilled vegetables, as well as wraps and paninis that use a variety of Kotsonis seven homemade flavored mayos, including basil and chipotle mayo.PKs Caf in Woodbridge is the second offering in a promising Kotsonis-branded franchise endeavor. The first PKs opened in Tottenville in Staten Island, N.Y., in 2006 to great success, being voted the number one casual restaurant on Staten Island by the boroughs residents in 2008, and continues to delight Staten Island residents today. Were definitely the new kid on the block here in Woodbridge, but were already gaining a loyal customer base and looking forward to helping our new friends and neighbors discover a truly unique and pleasurable dining experience at PKs Caf, explains Kotsonis.
