Just moved to the area and had to surrender my fab diner and was looking for a new one.Stopped by the Reo for lunch and was highly dissapointed.Had their Shrimp salad sandwich and it was actually sour-not to mention their world class salad bar was nowhere to be found (maybe because it was lunch) Will not be returning
You can’t go home… I grew up in Woodbridge and returned to go to my 35th High School reunion so feeling nostalgic decided to to have dinner. At the Rio… What a mistake the food downright sucks now This place used to be so good. What a shame a landmark like this to become so awful.
Reo diner not good. Ordered burger and disco fries, fries were cold and no cheese, bad gravy and burger was raw in the middle and served on a moldy bun. they asked if i wanted another bun for my raw clod burger and missing cheese diso fries… i asked to see the manager and was told there wasnt one. i said i would be ashamed also dont try and bill me for anything and we will both be fine. they didnt and i waited amazed as my friends ate anyway then i took them to the next place and made them wait while i ate. all in all a weird day. this isnt the only bad thing ive heard about the reo, they are awful
Reo Diner. My favorite breakfast place (Pop’s Deli) was closed for vacation so i stopped at the Reo. I ordered a western omelet with swiss cheese and it arrived with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were dry and tasteless and the omelet could not compare to Pop’s. I paid $12.00 for this omelet that I would have paid $7.00 at pops. Pops located on rahway avenue in woodbridge next to rugs and riffys. Thank god its only a week vacation.
Bad. One of the worst diners I’ve ever eaten at.
At home…. The food is so-so.. Some days awesome, some days eh.. Rarely a bad meal.. But the staff is 110% wonderful. They are friendly, accommodating, and make you feel like you are at home.
