Every staff member is so kind and warm. All the food is delicious and amazing. I love the lavender mint tea and their dipping sauces, and really just all their dishes. However, I’d love to highlight their desserts! I’m vegan, so it’s so refreshing to have some insanely delicious vegan treats.
You will fall in love with the food, just amazingly good! If you’re into healthy eating this is the place to be. If you’re not and just want to try something good and new trust me this is the place.
Way over priced, gross food, run down!. They charge $5 for a biscotti! My food came out cold and it was not good at all. It was $9 for a gross samosa and a really small cup of soup. This place is also super run down. Bad. Avoid this place!
Worst place ever !!!!!!. The people are rude and the food is horrible. DONT EAT HERE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
Horrible Customer Service 7/5/14, 12-2p.m.. First let me say, while I drank my $4.00 cup of chai, I regrettably did no eat anything during my first visit. Here’s why. Upon enterning the Silver street location, and since this was my first time visiting an Annapurna, I had no clue how business was conducted there: do you wait for someone to seat you? Do you seat yourself? Do you order at the counter, pay, and then get served? Do you seat yourself and wait for a waiter/waitress? When I turned the corner facing the cashier, she neither greeted me nor gave me intructions on how things are done there, even after identifying myself as a first-time customer! No smile; no greeting. I couldn’t read the tiny print on the computer screen that showed the menu so I had to find a print menu and figured I’d seat myself. I ordered a cup of chai just to get started and was surprised at the price, though was told there are free refills. Unfortunately, to get a refill I had to stand in line and wait my turn, there was no chai on the floor to refill myself. Though they had a busboy, the tables were dirty and left with dirty dishware for over a half an hour. One group of people had to cramp into a smaller table after looking just as confused as I was when walking in and not receiving a greeting or direction, because the larger tables were still covered with dirty dishes, napkins, cups and food debri. Since the busboy was rarely on the floor, and since there aren’t paper napkins available, one couple grabbed a left over cloth napkin from another customer and took it upon themselves to clean the table they wanted to sit at. The busboy happened to see the man doing this and instead of running over to relieve him of cleaning or at least assist him, looked the other way and went to another table! What! in the hour or so I spent there, the busboy hardly cleaned the tables and did so haphazardly. He wiped them down after customers had to wait a long time and left the floor dirty. What a horrible work ethic. It was the unfriendly welcome, figure-it-out-yourself atmosphere, and dirty conditions (the bathroom stunk and was filthy too), that prevented me from ordering any food. While the chai was Okay, I can’t imagine why 5 gallons–for those who would need that much–of it would cost $85. I am going to go back one more time and try the food. But such poor customer service and dirty environment encourages me to never return.
Disappointing. I ordered a salad and bowl of veggies. The salad was insipid. The lettuce was limp and the only garnish was a slice or two of pale, pithy tomatoes. The dressing was barely noticeable. The veggie dish had undercooked or maybe just old and dry kabocha squash and way overlooked greens. Inedibble. When we complained to a staff member his comment was OK. I wrote a complaint to the restaurant directly. Never have gotten a reply.I know the can do better. This was unacceptable as is their non response. It will be a long time before I return.
