This place is as authentic as Mexican gets. Having previously lived in Juarez, Mexico for most of my childhood, this place truly takes me back to the simplicity and authenticity that Mexico has to offer. There are many taquerias in Abq, but none compare to El Paisa. They prepare their meat correctly so it holds all the wonderful flavors. It is cash only so be prepared. I recommend the Carne Asada tacos and the chile de arbol salsa both huge winners. I cannot duplicate their flavors even with my Abuelas advice!
