Its Quick …. I enjoy ordering my carry out food at Tenampa. They are ready for pick up in 4-6 minutes every time I placed an order. The food is great and tasty. One thing they add depending on the order is sopapillas with honey which is a real treat. It comes with the utensils in every order I made. The staff is friendly and never in a nasty mood. This is one of those little spots not many know about but it is one of our Albuquerque hidden spots. Try it, you’ll enjoy your experience so sure. If not, I’m sure they will try to resolve any issues or problems. I love it …

We’re from Oklahoma and wanted to try something local and flavorful. We’re not disappointed. The chips and salsa are remarkable. The bowl of green was subtle initially with a bold taste that emerged 1/3 of the way in. The tostaditos were absolutely perfect. I’m glad we got off the interstate and found this hidden gem.

Once again my favorite place on the west end satisfied my tastbuds.09 May, 2013The location used to be Chatas kitchen and still has the name on some items however the place now has a new sight outside the building (Tenampa). The restaurant has been through two previous owners but these owners are by far the best. It’s family ran and they are very nice. The son is the server along with the daughter and the dad is the cook. the food is good New Mexican food for Albuquerque especially the chicken enchiladas with X-mas. I prefer this place over most for New Mexican food especially after Mass on Sunday mornings. Also don’t forget to ask for what’s not on the menu, the son told me that his dad is now making shrimp dishes and that’s my new mission, to go try a shrimp cocktail (with Clamato etc.).
