Skip it. Dirty, dirty. Have been the only customers in the place and its filthy. Someone should be cleaning when they arent serving folks. Salad bar is GROSS. Boiled eggs floating in greenish, grayish water. Ranch dressing that went south days ago because they arent cleaning out the bowl…they just pour fresh dressing on top of the old and the stuff on the bottom is solidified and 2 inches thick. Service is poor. Other food is below mediocre.
The food was okay. You could tell a lot was frozen first. But the service was really slow. It was 3pm on a weekday so there were only a few tables. We watched a table seated before us walk out after 20 minutes because they never had drinks brought to them. It took our food a while. But the waitress was apologetic, but told us that she had just started waitressing.
WOW!! So good we ate here TWICE!!. Where to start!!! This food was AWESOME. On day 1, we had the trout and BBQ combo plate. Both were delicious. The trout was wonderful and a good size portion. The BBQ combo plate was HUGE, extremely flavorful and even the beef ribs were tender. Some of the BEST BBQ EVER! Of note – the BBQ sauce is homemade! In addition, the sweet potato fries were FANTASTIC – crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning! On Day 2, we ordered fajitas and the BBQ burger (and more sweet potato fries)! The salsa is homemade and so good that we brought small containers home to Texas!! The guacamole was just as completely awesome, and also homemade! The fajitas were such a large serving that I couldn’t finish them. The BBQ was an excellent burger with the same great homemade BBQ sauce as on the combo plate the day before.Bottom line – the ingredients are FRESH, FRESH, FRESH and these people CREATE FROM SCRATCH what they possibly can. A few notes about the Owner/Chef… During our visit with his staff, we learned he worked at a well-known Texas steakhouse for 20 years before moving to Angel Fire and opening Zeb’s. He hand-cuts his own beef which makes for good cuts of meat and superb tenderness.We HIGHLY recommend Zeb’s!!!
Good food at good prices. Not frilly, but not a dump either. We really enjoyed Zeb’s!
Small Town Good. We have eaten here for three years. Good consistent food. Not fancy. Typical of a small town. Mexican dishes, shrimp, catfish, chicken fried steak, steaks, salad bar, burgers, etc. Full bar.
Got a long island with no alcohol, cold food and HORRIBLE service
