OK, But not great. My chief complaint is the beer selection. I ordered a Sam Adams (OK Beer), and got what tasted like a bud light (Bad Beer). When I complained, the bartender sent word that I was wrong, it was Sam Adams, hmm. If he doesn’t know the difference, maybe should be bussing tables. Too many good breweries in the area to be serving mediocre beer.
Great Bar/Atmosphere!. John, the bartender is great. He has such a charisma plus this bar is the only one around that has such a great atmosphere!
We will definitely be back.. Wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

This should be a bar. If you like Bikers, bar fights, drunk people, bad service, and horrible food Well this place is for you!!!!! So NOT a family resturant!
Nice place for a beer, just ok food.. I was excited when this place opened. As the belen area has little to choose from. When you get there you will be surprised that this nice large place is hiding behind a gas station. The gas station and place to eat seem to have become a family success. It kind of a cool sports bar. But I think you should save this destination for a drink, snack and maybe place to hang out. Not for ameal.After eating there many times I am at a loss as to how it has recieved several good reviews. The quality of the food and service is very hit and miss. And has never been better than average. When chilis serves way better food ( I dont care for chilis) You know there is dissapointment in your future.If you want a loud, noisy sports bar with average food and below average service, that is nice and unique, this might be the place for you.How this place got on the green chili cheeseburger trail is beyond me. If you want a decent green chili cheeseburger try Francis in belen or Lota Burger or circle- t on main street.If you want a great green chili cheeseburger and have time for a drive go to Bobcat Bite near Santa Fe, Or on to (my top pick) the bar and cantina in Willard, NM ( you cant miss it) Or to the mix of gas station/store/restaurant in Datilcant miss it its the only one. For a good green chili cheeseburger. Ok service. And for a decent handcut steak, the open face steak sandwich, cooked to order for a good price. Its usually a nice hunk of sirlion perfection.I think $7.95They also have steaks that are good at a higher price. Understand when I say good,you are talking several steps above Fats Sats steaks.When A sirlion sandwich medium rare, beats a ribeye meal, (hands down) you know you have a problem.Or for a great steak, head to albuquerque, at least the Monte Carlo has a good steak at a bar/ restarant. And decent quality food.
BEST BURGER EVER. I heard about Fat Sats through the NM Green Chile Cheese burger trail.. I drove from ABQ and yes it was worth the drive… Great double green chile cheese burger by far one of the best I ever had. Not to mention the chicago type atmosphere…keep serving the burger like you do and I will always be back…
