Great old railroad dining car concept. I used to eat here. But they closed it to the public for many years.(Its open to the public again) It was only open to Rail Road employees for several years. I guess because they have 2 hotels next door that cater to overnight conductors and engineers. They landed up contracting with the railroad only to serve them.I did recently see a billboard saying it was open to the public again. It used to be a great place to go after working late, after a late movie or the bar( when I used to go). I will update this after I try the food a couple times. It is cool because although it must of been build it the last 25 years It looks like an old railroad dining car.So even if you just stop for a cup of coffee its fun to see.Bring the kids and I bet they would love it. Any old railroad buffs would to. A stop by the old Harvey House Museum, here in Belen. Would probably make for a fun day. If you go, you can stand on the overpass ( close by) and watch the trains. How about a train related day trip.
