Stopped by Rita’s on a whim, very disappointing. The red Chile is thick and tasteless, the consistency of tomato paste. The hamburger meat in my burrito was very dry. Couldn’t finish my dish. Next time we’ll just go on to Pete’s like we usually do.

Yum!!!. You must try the Jackson Club!! This is the yummiest sandwich ever! Ham, turkey, bacon and all the traditional ‘club’ trimmings but on a sopapilla! The staff is great and the food is even better, a must try in Valencia County!!
In the top 5 places to eat in Belen. The food is of decent quality. I have had several different items here and they are all decent. The salsa is good. But my go to place for 2 items is here. I like there fajitas. The veggies are well grilled usually even carmelized a little. And head over on fridays for the all you can eat fish. You get small pieces of a mild breaded, not battered fish. Not the best ever, but tops for valencia county. I do go to LJS for battered. But for local cornmeal based, breaded this it the place.Just ask for the fries extra crispy ,if you like. Cause they are just run of the mill frozen( like most places serve). Thats at least makes them pallatable.
