Rutilios new Mexican restaurant has excellent service and the wait was probably the only bad thing about this place about a 5 minute wait not bad at all clean tables floors and silverware in my book it’s a definite 5 star
The food isn’t very good but I have to say the three times that we have gone in, they have excellent customer service! This place has potential.
Average sized burritos ala carte for >$5 apiece? No gracias.
Middle of the road. So the food is nothing spetactular and nothing really that special but it’s cheap and when you’re hungry and want some decent chile and you’re in Belen is worth checking out. Like I said there are better places and I guess worse ones as well but the chile was good and if nothing else go for that. Don’t expect something exciting, interesting, new, or old school just cheap and reliable New Mexican food.
Pass on by. It is beyond me how this place always seems to have lots of customers. So somebody must like this place.My aunt and uncle love it.This is like the 6th of my top 6 for belen, new mexican food. I think six is about all we have in belen. so its the bottom choice for me. So way down on the list of choices. The red chili is just passable, seems to have all the seeds and stems ground with it, and its very dark. I think a good red chili must be vibrant red, that can stand on its own with garlic and salt. I wont even bother reviewing there food. As I find it mediocre. There may be a few decent items. But I gave up and decided not to find them If your chili and beans cannot stand on there ownwhy bother, just drive on by. No amount of changes, cheese, grease , meat ex can make up for it.There is no point settling for less, when you can go to my top 4 belen, picks in the following order. Petes, Francis, Montonos, Or Ritas.And have better food.
Rutilios. Velvety red chile, spicy green with a gentle hint of garlic. Get it on anything and everything. We LOVE the chicken quesadillas. The chicken is moist and carefully seasoned, guacamole is plentiful and delicious. Must try salsa available all the time. And if you are lucky enough to roll thru this town in the winter-stop in for a bowl of posole…it will warm your heart, your soul, your tummy and not lighten your wallet.
