Not sure what the rave is – other than the name this place sucked! Had breakfast burritos – the highs schoolers running the place did not even attempt to adhere to basic food service rules: the girl handled the register and cash and went straight to handrolling my burrito and then making coffee – all without gloves! The muffins and bagels were Costco and older than the hills and the service was just lame. And don’t ask for anything extra, like ketchup. It’s sure to get you an eye rolling and a sigh…

How do I love thee Badass. Let me count the ways. I don’t know what I would do without you. You were one of the first places we visited since moving here and we have never had a bad meal or beverage yet (and believe me we frequent you several times per week). I like you. I really like you. I really do. Enough of my ode to what is the ONLY healthy place to eat in all of Bernalillo/Enchanted Hills area. The Hawaiian bread goes with every sandwich you can order (why bother with wheat or white when you can order Hawaiian duh). And you need to have it with the Badass sauce. The turkey is out favorite ham coming in a close second and chicken salad sandwich is the bombdiggity too. Mmm. I love their freshly brewed right in front of you iced teas as well. Wifi, a drive thru for convenience and smiling staff are all I nest to make me keep coming back for more without breaking the back. Three of us can eat for under $20 (that’s three loaded sandwiches, 3 bags of chips and 3 drinks). Damn that’s cheap. One of my fave finds so far.

Badass is conveniently located off 550 across from Santa Ana Casino. Their coffee is Hawaiian their bread is Hawaiian and is most delicious. This is a quiet and relaxing spot with wifi. It is my fav coffee-cafe stop. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

Biggest Fan. Bad Ass has Sugar Free, frozen, blended coffee’s that I can’t get anywhere else. Not even the more name familiar spots who only serve their usual over sugared brews, can compare to the coffee and the service I have consistently found ay Bad Ass. The people who serve the public there are great, and the only way I can foresee there ever being less than desirable service is because they do make it fresh. Fresh, flavorful and choices of coffee – what a concept. The sandwiches are really good – the Big Kahuna Chicken w/Bad Ass sauce is wonderful (have it on Hawaiian) definitely get your moneys worth. The Chia is great too. But I LOVE the coffee!!! And the staff. Thanks folks for always making my faves fresh and delicious.

Love Badass. We’ve been coming here for years now each time we visit Rio Rancho. There are plenty of coffee shops in the area, but so far none ever beat badass. I’ve never had a bad cup of coffee or latte and I’ve been to barista training prior to drinking their coffee. Relaxed place were the staff is friendly and simply awesome.

Bad Ass Coffee & Food. One of the greatest things in Rio Rancho, is the Bad Ass Coffee shop on 550 as I go to work. (I’d love to stop in the evenings too, but they close before I get off, so I have to look for opportunites when I am in the neighborhood and they are open.) Seriously, the Frozen-Blended, Sugar-Free Kreme De Kona with two extra shots is heavenly and goes down and wakes me up from deep inside. Or the Carmel Vanilla Latte with two extra shots, sugar-free blened (whip cream -sugar free too) is another get ‘er in gear kick. I’ve had their breakfast burrito, and would go for more, they are really good. For a lunch time sandwich, try the chicken salad on Hawaiian bead with mustard. And of course coffee. Thanks to Bad Ass coffee, starbucks is now slumming it in my book. Anybody can do starbucks, only SPECIAL people go for the Gold in flavor and savor – Bad Ass Coffee.

We love the coffee. Their frito pie was good, and their chicken salad sandwich was refreshing on a hot day. We ordered it with bad ass sauce, but order extra if you want a kick. I love my t-shirt even more. I wore it when my daughter was in the hospital because I knew it would make her smile. I wish I lived closer so I could eat there every week!
