The rolls are yummy, crispy roll. best salmon in town. also best toro in albuquerque. sushi rice is very different. not tasteless like every other sushi bar i’ve been too. 4 stars
Good Food…Some Service Problems. Mr. Sushi should be renamed. The sushi here is good, but there are better restaurants for sushi in Albuquerque. But what Mr. Sushi does better than anyone else is their hot food! Their teriyaki sauce is almost perfection and might be the mark by which you will compare all other teriyakis for the rest of your life. Okay, that is a slight exaggeration, but it is very good! Unfortunately, the service here can be VERY inconsistent! The staff is always pleasant, but sometimes pleasantry doesn’t make up for being exceedingly slow! I recommend starting with a sushi appetizer then moving to the teriyaki salmon or the wonderful tempura dishes (also very good). Share a hot sake with your dining companion and you will have a fairly enjoyable meal.
