Met our son and daughter in law for birthday dinner tonite. Service was excellent. Great chicken salad and catfish better than most. Shrimp cooked right as was the sirloin. Reasonable prices and really good eats.
Called ahead because we thought it would be too busy for dinner time, and they were but they had a table big enough for a party of 5, so there was no wait at all, the hostess was nice, the atmosphere was clean, the waiter did a good job as well, anyway ordered the spinach artichoke dip and creek fries both were very good, then for the entree I chose the sirloin and ribs combo with fries, and chili cheese grits food was really good, and then the manager came over to check on us and he was very nice as well overall experience good! Will be coming back for sure!
So So ….Not bad but nothing to write home about. I had the shrimp and grits which were OK and my daughter had a small sirloin which was pretty good but then again there wasnt anything really that special about the place
It was ok but not anything special. The salsa was good but milder than the queso. The tenderloin kebabs had a good flavor, but the meat was in the tough side. My dinner companion ordered the meatloaf. She found the mashed potatoes to be bland.
I have to say I was very impressed with this place. Surprisingly, impressed. Had the queso fries with bacon, shrimp & grits & the chocolate chip cookie sundae for dessert. Their queso fries will surprise you in a good way. Not just your regular cheese fries. Very, very tasty. I love shrimp & grits…one of favorite dishes…so my expectations were high. They were good, but I would suggest using larger jumbo shrimp instead of the smaller shrimp. There would be fewer served, but they can hold more flavor. Grits could use little more seasoning & cheese. I’m looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.
The food was excellent and the service very good. What brought my rating down to a 4 was the music. It was incredibly loud and a very obnoxious heavy metal style. We asked them to lower the music which they did.
We had a good first experience. The Pow Wow Shrimp was great and I had no complaints on the Hot Habanero Burger which is a double burger (though I didn’t remember seeing that fact on the menu). The waitress noticed my friend’s steak was a bit overcooked and the manager offered to take it off the check. We declined that so he sent us out free deserts. Fried Cheescake anf some crazy Chocolate Chip Cookie concoction that was out of this world.
