Not sure why this is sitting at 77%. I have eaten here at least 6-8 times in the past year and every time had been great! This is still the first place I recommend to people when they ask where to eat in town. Ignore the 77% rating, this place is legit.24 Feb, 2013Great chicken fried chicken! The waiter took drink orders from a table that was seated after us. 8 minutes later with still no drinks he pawned us off on another waitress. She was an excellent waitress. The food was awful! The fries cold and soggy. The bun on the hamburger was burnt black! The ribeye was ok, kinda chewy. I could have made better at home. Won’t be back.
A nice place for a quick meal. This place was great the one time I went to it. The waitstaff was quick and the food came out hot and nice portioned….I had chicken strips and they were very good…the potatoes were creamy and the gravy was pretty good as well. It is more of a place I would frequent for lunch….not a date or even a dinner if you are a beer/wine drinker because they do not serve alcohol ….other than that I have no complaints……overall a decent place.
Giant portion. It was my first time there and I got the chicken fried steak dinner. It was enormous, even with the extra breading, it was a lot of food. It didn’t taste bad, very good in fact, but the meat was tough/stringy, so not the best quality. The sides were lukewarm at best when my plate arrived- the green beans tasted/looked like canned ones and the mash potatoes weren’t very mashed at all- it was okay service, not outstanding, but one of the forks was dirty and our server was a little too pushy with the reccomendations. I’ll go there again.
Yes, this place is 100% hit or miss. One time it can be ok the next it’s horrible…never awesome. recently went and waited 14 minutes no one came to help us or ask what we wanted to drink…wife and i walked out…the waitress followed us to the door saying she was sorry but after 14 minutes…it’s too late for sorry. The manager sat and watched this and did nothing…NOTHING…to save us as customers…good job.
The food was ok. But The service was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. And it wasn’t even busy. Our server was to busy texting and eating fries off of plates leaving the kitchen going to the customer…
Hit or Miss. The place is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is awesome and other times it is crap! Just have to roll the dice.
