The service wAs great. The food was very good, although the portions on the bbq platters were to small for the money we were charged. The owner needs to either beef up the bbq platters or drop the price. I would come again but would order something else if they don’t change the serving size of the meat.
Red. My family and I used to love this place, but I have to say it went down hill. There isn’t enough staff in this place. One waitress for 15 tables inside and out. Also the food is not very appetizing…they were out of many many things like the brisquet, BBQ chicken, and this was only on a Wednesday. The food isn’t prepared right it’s just thrown together and the people preparing the food do not read the order right. I feel for our poor waitress she did the best she could. We will not be back. It’s not just us that won’t be back it will be all the 50-75 people we know.
Not happy at all. Ordered a chicken dinner to go, got a skimpy styrofoam box with two thighs and a drumstick that looked like it came from a chicken that had been on a food strike. They added sauce on the meat without asking, maybe thats the way some like it but not me. Could not tell if it was hardwood cooked or just slow cooked in an oven with liquid smoke. Less than memorable mealNice people working there, tipped real good but to no avail.
It’s a very good place to eat, especially in a place like Clovis.. I’ve enjoyed eating there for many years now and it has always been pretty decent and pretty consistent. In Clovis, all of our restaurants are absolute crap, so Fat Boys is a rare gem. The service is meh sometimes, but for the most part, the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a pretty solid place.

Great food, great service. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer and the turkey sandwich and quesadilla as entres; everything was delicious! Waiter was helpful and attentive, would come back again!
