A classic drive in that has great potential, unfortunately it lacks in several areas. The food sadly tasted aweful. I had a bbq burger- the meat had obviously been sitting in bbq sauce all day and was almost a ticket for heartburn. The fries were old and my husband’s steak sandwich (like a chicken fried hamburger patty) was lacking. This place has so much potential to create the nostalgic atmosphere folks look for in a drive in- just a shame that the food quality makes this place a miss.
Burger Fix Still Not Fixed. In my quest for the best burger in town, I ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a sweet tea. The verdict: typical cheeseburger, not drool worthy; fries were fresh and hot, but lacked salt; the sweet tea is by far the best drive-thru I’ve had thus far. With a lunch price over $8, definitely will look elsewhere for my burger fix.
