  So my mother in law snatched up some original recipe and extra crispy chicken tonight. No sides or anything else, just some yard bird. I’m a Popeyes guy, and rarely partake in KFC, but this pollo was very tasty. I wouldn’t typically review a fast food place since it’s so common, but it was surprisingly good this time. The breasts were juicy and nothing was dry. An hour after smashing a wing, 2 legs and a breast, I must have gulped down a gallon of water. I know it’s high in salt, but it’s sort of masked when you’re eating it. Chicken seemed as fresh as it could have been. For a fat boy fried chicken fix, it hit the spot pretty well. Not sure about their other side’s and what not, but their main seller was not disappointing. I would surely go back at some point. I kind of forgot about KFC, but it was a refreshing, yet fattening departure from what I’ve been having recently. For me, the extra crispy is better between that and original recipe. Just my opinion. Anything fried shall be fried to standard, which is very crisp, not somewhat soft-battered like the original recipe. Perhaps the steam got to it when it was in the bucket and jacked with the crispness….I don’t know. Popeyes is still better though. Clovis needs a hartz chicken buffet. That would be a hit.

  This place sucks!. My drink had no ice, the bread was old and stale, the chicken was cold and missing the 11 herbs and spices and the fries were cold and soggy. Wow, they totally destroyed every aspect of the meal. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever come back. Ever!
