We have always enjoyed a Twin Cronnie twin cronnie, the hot dog on the hamburger bun. It has always been consistently the best chili in Clovis. The past two times we had it , it was terrible tasting as very greasy. This time it mad e my husband ill. Needless to say we won’t be back, service was extremely slow today.
Bizarre but Good. So bizarre, but how often do you find drive-in restaurants anymore (Sonic not withstanding). We both ordered twin cronnie’s (pronounced croney)–think two chili dogs on a hamburger bun. On the recommendation of another diner, we also ordered a cheese stick. Weird, but tasty. The only negative was the vanilla milkshake. Tasted like soft serve that they tried to make into a milkshake. Not to my liking.
Very dissapointed.. For starters we were one of two cars and it took over 30 minutes to get two burgers. Asked for fries.. Got 3 1/2 potatoe wedges and a half a dozen fried okra (not sure if thats a standard?). Burger was not good, it was small and very dry. I usually dont write reviews like this, but honestly I might have been better of at McD’s or BK.
Didn’t make it…because. I was looking forward to having a twin cronnie BUT they do NOT have all beef hot dogs….
Gary. WOW! Just had the most unique Great Tasting Hot Dog called a twin cronnie. Now I know where their name came from. Everyone should try it!

Awesome Drive-In Clovis New Mexico. Best Drive-In ever! I love Twin Croonies. I always go by there when I am in town. I have had a little of everything, guess my favorite is the green chili chalupa- it rocks! I have also had the twin croonie, hamburger, enchilada and always get a shake. The servers are awesome and it is great to see a family owned place be in business for so long. This is the sort of place you would see on Diners, Dives and Drive-Thrus (I actually suggested it to the show). Hope Guy Feri makes it to Clovis to try this spot.
