Terrible service. Nice atmosphere, the food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible!! We will never go back. The Waitress got our wrong and just dropped off the food and walked away; did not ask if we needed anything else, never came back to check on us. I had to get up and ask the bartender for napkins and ketchup. All around a very unpleasant experience.

If you are not a neighborhood local don’t waste your time and ESPECIALLY money! I felt like it was a members only kind of joint. The service is not just slow, it is unavailable. I came seconds away from actually making a phone call to tell whoever answered that I was at a table waiting for service. The burger was as lame as the decor & ambiance. A beer on tap is $9.00 and not even a full pint. WHATEVER people. Whomever writes a positive review must be a friend of the owner.

New chef?. Normally, I love the food at Corrales Bistro. The green chile cheeseburgers are good and I love the Albuquerque Turkey. The people are friendly and the prices are not that bad.I decided to step outside my normal fare and ordered the special- Dolmas stuffed with salmon, parsley, and rice served over rice with a vermouth sauce. It sounded delicious! Then the order arrived- only 4 dolmas over a bunch of rice in a bowl. The dolmas were somewhat overcooked as the leaves were drying out. I cut into the dolma anticipating salmon and I was very disappointed to say the least. There was no trace of salmon. Not one flake of fish anywhere. I even asked the waiter if they gave me the right dolmas. He told me that it was the correct plate and I wasn’t the first one to question. The meal was just rice and parsley. I ate it, because the food was good, but complained to the manager about the lack of fish. I’m not sure if the chef was new, or what happened, but this item should’ve been removed from the menu or at least not have been advertised as salmon dolmas. The price of $14 was also outrageous and should have been lowered.I also asked for the Sangria, which is usually very good, but the waiter advised me against it. Something needs to change in the kitchen as I do enjoy the restaurant and would hate to cross it off my list.

Relax and Enjoy the View. Laid back and rather enjoyable. Good burgers, frequent live entertainment, fairly large selection of beers on tap, (with free samples of anything you wish to try,) and beautiful views from the back patio. Good place for a date.(Don’t sit on the patio if you don’t want to be exposed to cigarette smoke, however. I was pregnant when I last visited and I couldn’t get far enough away to not smell the smoke constantly.)Sweet potato fries- thumbs down. Too greasy and a tad overcooked. Regular fries were decent.

Saturday Night Gathering. Met friends last minute on evening of February 18th. Nice because not your typical chain food restaurant venue. Great food, wonderful beer. However I probably won’t go back because choice of band was so screaming loud it made your ears hurt. Screaming is what it sounded like when the members were singing. Would love to see a venue with background music so you could at least visit with your friends. Left with hoarse throat from trying to talk…..I can only imagine the singers throats.

Don’t go if you’re hungry. Understaffed, disorganized, ridiculously slow service.

Not bad, but wouldn’t go out of my way.. Went there for the first time last night to hear a friends band. Read the reviews of slow service and was instantly worried when we were seating ourselves and the table behind us called over our waitress and asked for their order to be boxed up to go because it was taking so long to get…Anyway, we had none of those problems, we had a GREAT waitress who really took good care of us. The beer was great, plenty of choices without being overwhelming. The food on the other hand, was just ok.Our table ordered three lobster stews served in a bread bowl, a Greek salad, a plate with toast points, feta, roasted garlic and a black olive teppinade(sic) plus an order of beef nachos and some sort of wrap. The stew was pretty run of the mill sea food anything you get in land locked Nuevo Mexico, the sour dough bowl was great, would have been A LOT better if it had been toasted a bit more, same with the toast points which seemed to be lightly grilled and were very limp. The nachos were good, but the beef was hard to find, my SIL shared her salad with me, and it wasn’t bad.Overall a good experience, but living in the far NE foothills it wasn’t enough to get me all the way back out there for anything other than a specific occasion.
