OH MY GOSH. When they first opened a second location on Rio Grande, I was thrilled. I live right in that neighborhood, and rarely could make it all the way out to Coralles to go to the original one. I often will order the Chicken Green Chili soup and breadsticks when I am at work, and it is ready to go by the time I get there, within 10 minutes or so. Their service is fast and friendly, and the food is incredible. The owner is a great guy, and you can see that in the food and the service. Their pizza is incredible. It has a nice fluffy crust, the sauce just feels fresh, and the cheese is high quality. (not greasy like on other pizzas.)I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a hidden gem in both Coralles and the Rio Grande neighborhoods.
NEVER AGAIN. I grew up in Corrales and have always been found on village pizza. As time has went on and they are growing there business it seems like the customer service has gone way down. I am allergic to glutton, so when i go in for lunch i call and ask for my own extra small glutton free pizza. i went in august 19th for lunch with my mother for my birthday and got what i always get. i called in the pizza 10 minutes before i got there and waited an additional 35 minutes when i went to check on my pizza for the third time i found that they had put it out on the buffet. i was so upset being there for that long and still not eating. i talked to the manager on had and he did not seem to care at all and was very rude. he was not friendly even before the incident. he told me to eat anything else on the buffet obviously not listening to a word i said because their pizza pasta and soups have glutton. he didn’t even offer to make me a new one. not only will i never go there again or send anyone there but they ruined my birthday thanks alot village pizza
