Disappointing sandwich. I just ate one of Al’s beef dip-a-do sandwiches. Probably the driest, most flavorless sandwich I’ve ever had. Whatever they’re calling roast beef is nothing like what I call roast beef. Seemed almost like meatloaf, almost like ground beef, was dry dry dry. Nothing on the bread at all; they just threw the meat-substance into the roll and cut it in half. Could have used twice the amount of au jus just to add some moisture. I suggest occasionally tasting what you serve. You should be embarrassed by this sandwich.

They roast their own roast beef and it was excellent… they were super nice and patient with me when I told them that I had some allergies and gladly made some substitutions! Prices were reasonable and food was very fresh… this will be the first of many visits! Highly recommend!!!
A Must Try. By far my favorite lunch/breakfast place downtown. The service and quality are excellent. I have tried most of the menu items….yes I eat there that often…..but my favorite is the Salami Mozz Melt. Just a perfect blend of flavors and is always perfect. Staff is great..what else can I say……Just go and enjoy!
