By far the best and authentic Indian vegetarian food we have had in the area. The service was outstanding. So glad to have come across it – will be frequented on a regular basis!
So far I have eaten at Am Spices of India for three times with my family. I must say that this is the BEST India/Vegetarian cuisine of the town, were Vegan, Jain, Gluten Free options are available in addition of regular menu items. I did feel & experience that the food was fresh, and was unlike other cuisines, it was made without using any preservatives or artificial color. All the dishes I ordered was made to order each time. The options they serve fulfilled liking of my each family member in age group of three generations and it was in fact very delicious. Here I will not forget to mention that the food including the buffet served by them was the best, I have ever eaten in United States in last more than 40 years of my stay here. Due to such fabulous food quality, I ordered Am Spices of India to cater my personal get together party, arranged on 10/10/2015, while I invited my family friends. I ordered for full dinner including two appetizers for more than 60 people. As usual, the food was amazing and was enjoyed & appreciated by my each & every guest whole heartedly. I strongly recommend to visit the restaurant at least once, as according to me it’s one of the place of down town, ABQ, where one should not miss to visit. You will find authentic Indian – Vegetarian taste, and the best hospitality, where owner/s themselves takes care of each minors issue for the best customer service and satisfaction.
I have visited Am Spices of India more than 5 times, every time I ordered different food, food is too delicious, owners are very much service oriented, great hospitality!
AM Spices has some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Very authentic, plus I always feel good after I eat it (very important!). My favorite dish is the Kitchari. Very nourishing and healing. You can tell the food is made with LOVE…also very important 🙂
Delicious. Fresh, REAL Indian food, so much better than most Indian restaurant food here, which is much blander, fattier, and just poorly done compared to the real thing back home. The food at Am Spices is delicious, healthy (no butter) and wonderfully spiced (must be freshly ground spices?). We have eaten at the restaurant buffet twice, and loved it both times. Now we’re having lunch delivered to our office everyday because we love the food so much.
Delicious. Great food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. The menu is huge and there is so much verity- we are looking forward to going back and trying more of the dishes.
Excellent food and a good price.. The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. We tried the buffet to sample several dishes–it comes with several table-delivered sauces, chai tea, something like an Indian sopapilla, and a turnover. I hope it sticks around!
