Amazing service and the pad Thai was some of the best I’ve had in the states! Highly recommended!
SKIP THIS PLACE. We were looking for something within walking distance that we all wanted to eat. Pizza was out and then we saw the Asian Noodle Bar, so we thought we would try it.Ten minutes after being seated, and as we were packing up to leave the waiter finally took our drink order.Interestingly, the group of 6 that came in behind us had food AND drink before we even had water…was it because we were 1 adult and 3 kids…I can only assume….Coincidentally…a single black man came in and sat at a table for 4. He was rudely asked to move to a table for 1 in the corner.Another 15 minutes later the waitress finally took our food order. We asked if the portions were big enough to split between 1 adult and 2 kids and she gave a rather pissy answer of ‘it depends on how hungry you are’. We got the yakitori which for $6 should have more than 6 1×1 pieces of chicken. We also had teryaki chow mein, pad thai and fried rice. We got another serving of attitude when we asked for extra plates. Our drinks were never refilled, our plates never taken away. The flavors were good, but no better than any other Asian place…Pei Wei is equal in flavor, but exceeding for price and speed.Luckily we are not in this area much…and now we know better not to go to here.
Miso soup with soba noodles was great.
Not the best. We chose because the reviews were pretty high, but the sushi was mediocre at best. My husband had one of the bowls and was disappointed to find the bottom of the bowl full of lettuce to make it look like there was more food. Service was good and staff was friendly but I wouldnt waste your time or your money trying this place out.
Food is pretty decent, especially when you’ve been traveling all day, are very hungry, and the rest of the area looks seedy. Nice establishment and they have Ugly Kid Joe on the speakers! Extra bonus for me. Nice way to start our weekend in Albuquerque.
Noodles….. I like the whole idea of lots of noodles served various ways because I simply love noodles. The spring rolls were good but a little overwhelming with the cilantro, still not as good as the numerous Vietnamese restaurants we are blessed to have here in Albuquerque. The portion sizes could have been bigger but the flavor was very good and the food was overall was very delicious. The wait staff could be more attentive and possibly a little friendlier.
Good food. We normally go there for sushi, although I have ordered the Pad Thai before which was very good too. The service does get a little choppy when they are busy, but normally it is good. The workers are personable and the owner normally visits the table each time we go. The owner actually approached our table and apologized for having to raise the prices and hopes we continue to come in, he explained that his costs were steadily increasing and he had not choice but to raise the prices. Honestly we did not even notice the change in prices until he mentioned it, the prices are still reasonable though. This place is constantly good and I like to support local business.
