Overall very satisified. In the spirit of the whole Diners Drive-in’s and Dives scene we tried this place for breakfast. It was great. The food came quickly, was very fresh, and made from scratch. The waitress was professional and helpful, but not necessarily friendly. My only complaint is they didnt have sweet tea and only those annoying little sugar packets on the table. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but it was worth it
Just read the local reviews. Albuquerque has plenty of great NM flavor, don’t settle. Albuquerque has many options when it comes to New Mexico Cuisine. If you are local and you know good NM food, you will be disappointed. If you are tasting NM flavor for the 1st time, you may not think it is so bad. Also, their service is poor.

Delicious!. One of the locals sent us to Cecilia’s. I ordered my burrito with both salsas (Christmas). My burrito was filled with very good, crispy chicharrones. The red was super hot and yummy, and the green was delicious too. I was surprised when the flour tortillas came out, they are homemade. If you’re looking for New Mexican cuisine, Cecilia’s is a good option.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Today my husband and I went to Cecilia’s Cafe because we had seen it on food network on the show Diner, Drive-In, and Dives. Well we were seriously very disappointed. I ordered a Pablo Burger, No cheese, no onions, and green chile instead of jalapenos. I got onions and jalapenos. My husband ordered a burrito and they gave him a stuffed sopapilla. he said that the green chile tasted as if it had came out of a can. The tab came to $23.97 but my card was charged $24.17. I asked her what the $0.30 extra charge was. She said that is a fee they charge for paying with a credit card. $0.30 is nothing. but at least give me the heads up about any additional fees before I choose my method of payment. And to top it off, The place was filthy. The first table that we sat at was dirty, the ceiling fans had so much dust on them that the dust was thick and black, like it had never been cleaned before. They wrapped towels on the vents, that were also very dirty. one of the worst experience I’ve had. Triple D’s has let me down yet again.
Loved the firemans burrito! Service was friendly, fast and down right spot on! I feel sorry for any user who didn’t get to experience Cecilia’s the way I got to.
Disappointing. After having seen the cafe featured on Food Network we thought we’d give it a try. Born and raised in Northern New Mexico and spent my summers working on my Grandfathers chili farm, I learned what good chili is and this does not meet that criteria. We noticed lots of tourist types eating and even heard some saying how wonderful it was. I can only think that either they have no clue what good New Mexican food is or they had very different dishes than my wife and I. Service was nothing to write home about. One thing it did is give me a different perspective on Food Neworks Diners, Dives, and Driveins program.
