Really-Sucked. The Server was great. Food ReALLY Sucked/ Meatloaf microwaved, Out of Mash Potatoes out of Onion Rings, put the bag of chips in the gravy on the meatloaf. The chef didn’t look like he bathed. Would Avoid at all cost!!!
It used to be good…. Lindy’s used to be a charming, retro greasy spoon in Albuquerque’s downtown. Now, it’s just greasy. They removed the booths and the flooring so that the interior now resembles a garage. The service is slow, the management is surly, and the food is average. For a diner that’s been around since the 1920’s, it doesn’t bode well for the future.
Just can’t do it again. I work in downtown ABQ. I eat out for lunch almost every day. I’ve tried Lindy’s Diner 3-4 times and I’ve been completely disappointed each and every time. Everything from bad food to bad service – I kept trying because it is conveniently located and I believe in supporting local businesses. So this time after a wait of over 35 minutes and watching customers who ordered after me getting their food – I canceled my order. This was not the first time that this had happened. I will not be going back. I gave you 3-4 tries and that is more (much more) than you deserved.
I usually try to support the local stores and restaurants so I decided to try this place. I came I tried and I left. I won’t be back. My food took nearly an hour to get and it arrived both cold and burnt. Save yourself and steer clear of anything fried as I doubt the grease has been changed since mid evil times.
A great experience.. Took a date here today. Both our orders were pretty good. Only draw back was they didn’t have any onion rings. Overall, a great experience.
You have a 50/50 chance of getting your to go order misplaced at Lindy’s. Sometimes the food is ok, sometimes it’s bad, and sometimes it’s not even what you ordered.
Really awful. I love the servers but quit coming in after being served sub par breakfasts too many times…raw bacon, cold hash browns. Avoid unless you need Internet and a cup of Joe.
