Don’t get me wrong, this place has wonderful food. One of the top two Mom and Pop Asian restaurants in ABQ inho. However, I went there last night, really wanting some good food. It was 6:15 and they close at 7:00. A man at the restaurant told me they were closed. I said it wasn’t 7:00 yet. He laughingly told me the cook went home. I hope they don’t laugh themselves out of business. Their evening hours don’t cover dinner time.
So I was home sick craving some Chinese. Through this site I found Mak’s and they delivered some delish Chinese!! YUM!! Thank you for the delivery!
Nope. Mediocre canned and frozen veggies with cornstartched gravy. Canned hot and sour soup. Homeless person came in and bothered us the entire time we ate inside.One good thing, they deliver with no charge if the order is over 15$. I would pass this one up if I were you.
I love this place! Fresh food, super friendly people! If they are not too busy they will even bring it to you within a mile. Make sure to have the green chilli egg rolls, they are delicious!! This a welcomed change from the usual downtown choices

They take pride in their green chili eggrolls and general tso’s chicken… (rightfully so….).. tasted a sweet chili garlic eggplant (not a vegetarian but I love this!! ) their food taste amazing. homemade sauces and spices makes their food even stand out, a great comfort food!
Great new addition to downtown eating. EXCELLENT service, delicious food! You can tell that staff really love their jobs. They go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied. The steam table bowl or plate is from 10:30 AM – 1 PM and you get more than your money’s worth of freshly cooked food. Definitely recommending to my friends and coworkers!
