Great cafe for the Downtown area!. My only complaint for Weekdays is that it’s not open on the weekends, but then it’d need to change it’s name! This is a sweet little cafe tucked into Downtown ABQ. The breakfast burritos are delicious, either hand held, or smothered and made with chile that has a kick, but not too much heat. Their baked goods counter is bursting with treats you’d get in a good baker’s home kitchen. Gooey cream cheese iced, dense chocolate brownies, muffins, cookies, bar cookies and any other scrumptious creation the baker/owner is working on. The food is made by people who obviously love food and approach cooking with a basic, comforting menu that keeps you coming back. It’s an understated cafe from the outside, we at first did not recognize it as a cafe, but are we glad we ventured in! My husband and I have not tried lunch at Weekdays, but that is next.

The staff is so friendly and the waitress remembered our order from the 1st time we were there. She was so nice & attentive! Seriously the best place for lunch downtown. Fast service as well. 🙂

Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas. Wednesdays – love the green chile chicken enchilada plate! Service is fast, atmosphere great, prices really great. You have to check it out!
