Thanks to a review, decided to give this place a chance. We do like good Mexican food. Kinda hard to find thanks to location. As for the food, you can tell how good the Mexican food is by the salsa and their’s is just fine. Therefore, decided to experiment. I had Chili Rellanos with red sauce, supposedly the mildest of the two. Came with rice and refried beans. Wife had Vegetarian Navajo Taco. My food was fine, tasty. The best part was the rice, tasted like some that I had a long time ago prepared by a great chef. Next best part was the shredded lettuce salad that came as a side. Rellanos were good, mild pepper flavor and great Mexican white cheese. Good sauce. The Navajo Taco was fantastic, huge, more than she could eat. Came with a red sauce for extra flavor if needed. Then the surprise. A sopapilla that would choke a horse. We spilt it and was still filling. Honey is on the table. So, my review rates this place as high. If we ever pass through Farmington again and it’s mealtime, we’ll go back. Five out of five.
Visiting family in Farmington, NM and was told that Los Hermanitos was amazing and that we needed to pay a visit. On Saturday night we all went as a family to Los Hermanitos and was seated in the back section of the restaurant away from everyone else which was nice because my family tends to get noisy. We were given chips and salsa while deciding what to order and it was delicious. The salsa was hot and seasoned perfectly. We then ordered our meals which was the Famous Breakfast Burrito smothered in green chile, the San Juan Combination Plate, and a side of Chile Verde. The breakfast burrito had bacon, potatoes, egg, and cheese inside and was smothered in the green chile, amazing. The San Juan Combination plate consisted of a chile rellano, a tamale, and a cheese enchilada which was also delicious! The chile verde was chunks of pork and green chile, almost like a sauce and it was perfect! It had the perfect amount of spice. Overall, my experience at Los Hermanitos was fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone. The restaurant was very clean and orderly, and was very authentic! We had an amazing experience.
