Steak Underdone. I am usually a fan of the chain steakhouses because they offer decent quality for a decent price. I have been to various Outback locations before, so I was eager for a steak while I watched football on TV. I ordered the Outback Special Sirloin (medium) with a salad and garlic mashed potatoes. The salad was good and I had no issues there. When I got my steak and cut into it, it was borderline rare. I sent it back, and the same steak was returned to me 10 minutes later. The outside had been charred, but the inside was still medium rare at best. On top of that, the garlic mashed potatoes were very dry and weren’t anything to write home about. I ate what I could and left the rest. I received no discount for my unsatisfactory meal. I would not return here.
