Well as far Farmington goes there’s not many options. So there bar is not set very high. With that said three Rivers is a pretty dang good resteraunt. Wife and I came on a busy Friday night. Service was sub par but once again what can you expect in Farmington. Definitely a bit overpriced but good food and fun atmosphere.
Another restaurant that went downhill. I have been disappointing that last several times I have eaten here. The last visit was just for dessert since I no-longer trust an entree to be good. My girlfriend and I got a slice of chocolate cake to share, it looked delicious when it came out! It wasn’t, it was dry and very very bland and flavorless. The beer was decent and the waiter was good. The place still only gets one star because waiters that do back flips don’t make up for poor food.
Good Atmosphere. I came here with some coworkers on a Thursday night. There was no wait, and we were seated right away. I had El Bobador ($15): a burger with onion ring, jalapenos, cheese, lettuce, and onion. It came with a side, and I selected fries. The burger was good and was stacked tall. The fries were also pretty good. I wasn’t blown away by the food, but the place had a nice atmosphere with the pub feel. The service was great, and we were never left with an empty glass. I’d return here, but probably try something different. It also looked like they had a pizzeria, banquet hall, and tap room all on the same block.
Too $$$$ For Average Food. I used to like going to Three Rivers, both the restaurant and the tap room. However they have jacked up their prices and changed their menu. All they have now are overpriced burgers and steaks. There is seriously nothing under $13 on the menu. The beer has gone up in price as well. Everything is pretty average in taste and not worth the high prices.
Best Crust in Town. There are a couple of places to get pizza in town but we choose this one pretty consistently. The crust is made with their amazing Papa Bear beer. The flavor is incredible. Their toppings are wide ranging and they have a stellar selection of ‘special’ pizzas. I particularly enjoy the Smokehouse one. I have also had the gluten free crust which was pretty nice. I highly recommend a spicy pizza and a nice tall glass of Papa Bear.
Awesome green chili lasagna and Caesar salad, super Arroyo beer. Only downside in the bar area was that I was served on to go dish – foil and styrofoam? Couldn’t make it show on a real dish? Asked for a plat e and got a picnic plate! Food excellent, folks nice, most very good on this experience!
The garlic rosemary fries with ranch dressing are something I would eat every week if I lived here. Also, the drunken steak sandwich is amazing! Tender marinated flank steak, fresh mushrooms sauted and a soft bun. I added grilled onions. They make their own cream soda and root beer plus, their beer is good. Nice atmosphere, feels like you’re entering a cool local hangout.
