Stopped in for a gyro and this little place has turned into a pho restaurant, which I would have tried if they hadn’t just opened and weren’t yet set up to take plastic.
My family and I greatly enjoyed Ahmo’s Gyro’s. Their basic gyro is filled with mostly lamb. But if you don’t like lamb, you can substitute chicken, which my wife did. At $5 per, they were large, tasty and a very good value.
I really wanted to like this place but a thin, watery tzatziki sauce coupled with unextraordinary lamb and a fair shawarma derailed it. While the meats were tasty, they lacked the spiciness of other Greek/middle-eastern restaurants in the city.
I stay in hotels 300+ nights yearly, so good delivery restaurants are a blessing. From the quick and efficient order taking to the timely delivery, this place rocks! The food is plentiful and packaged with all the necessities. Overall a great place to order delivery.
Our Daughter took us to lunch at Ahmo’s Gyro’s & Deli, and what a pleasant surprise. The food was some of the best Gyro meat I have ever tasted. The prices are good and I will surely be back next time we are in town.
