After our trip to Santa Fe/Taos/Roswell we drove to Albuquerque to catch a flight back home the next day. We werent very hungry, so we headed to the local Applebees for a light dinner. We both had the Chicken Tortilla Soup. Applebees version of this dish is always quite good, and this was no exception. My wife also had a small Asian Chicken Salad, which was very good. Although she is a very discerning (read picky) consumer of salads, she also seems to like any salad from Applebees. I had the beef quesadillas, which were a bit dry and was served with an uninteresting and wimpy salsa. You are never going to get a great meal at an Applebees, but in a pinch you can get food here which is at the least okay, and as I said the salads always seem to be the star of the show.
It was ok. Applebee’s was ok, just what I expected I geuss going in, the food was good, service, was good, and the price was really good. The steak’s at Applebee’s seem to be frozen not fresh just seem to have that texture and flavour not a fan.
