Great NE chinese buffet!. We were all very happy with the food, the decor, the service, and it was sparkling clean. I have lived in ABQ since July and my kids love Chinese buffets. We tried Hong Kong but it is waaaay too far from Tramway. Evergreen Buffet closed in Jan 2012 (closest to us) and Lin’s is very beautiful but more than $10 per person and with 4 of us, that’s over $50 to eat with drinks.So we tried AA Buffet for the first time tonight. The sign on the corner of Juan Tabo and Lomas looks kinda seedy but the inside of the place is VERY NICE. Lots of etched glass, beautiful colored panels backlit in the ceiling with koi and asian ladies etc. Chairs are all very sturdy and well made (unlike Lins). Food is fresh, and tasty, and the variety was much more than i was expecting. They have the typical entrees, and a mongolian grill with the raw ingredients you choose, and a sushi counter. Also salads and desserts, including four flavors of premium handscooped ice cream. I liked everything I tried. There were no weird flavors. It was almost deserted on a thursday night at 8pm which is a shame. It cost $9.50 on weeknights, and Fri/Sat/Sun are only $9.99. VERY affordable. I recommend this place to anybody that likes Chinese Buffet. (The only critique I could make would be to have more variety of steamed/healthy cooked vegetables).

Good for chinese food, but not my favorite. I’m a super buffet junkie, and this one is near my house. I like it well enough for lunch, but dinner is kind of hit-or-miss. The restaurant is clean enough, but on some nights the food is fresh, and other nights it seems a bit stale and greasy. As far as the food, it’s okay, the sushi tends to seem like it’s been sitting out too long – I recommend they cover it to keep it moist and soft. A significant problem is that there have been children running up and down the isles that appear to be those of the owners or staff, and nobody does anything about it. Pros: Good Chinese selectionCons: Not much for other types of food, as far as selection goes, noisy.

SUSHI???? Where????. Just came back from this place…. I have been there at least 10 times over the last year. for a buffet it is not bad at all; many choices with plenty food; a very good choice if you’re starving and want to stuff yourself….Me, I can hardly eat 1 plate of that food but once in a while it is ok…. the attraction is the sushi buffet and i still don’t eat much of it…all i could see was; Rolls, sushi shrimp and sushi octopus…there’s already 10 dishes with shrimp on the regular buffet and sushi octopus? i think I’ll pass… Rolls ARE NOT sushi in my book…the manager or owner, said they didn’t specialize in Sushi so I should not expect a wide choice… DON’T advertise Sushi in the name of your restaurant along with the word buffet then… (actual name is AA BUFFET SUSHI&GRILL)…again I have been to your restaurant at least 10 times and I know that the choice of sushi was better when you first opened (at least at night)…you can thank Amy, the young lady that waited on me; she was so nice about it that I will come back…other than that, the food is not bad at all… it is at least as good or better than similar places… and of course with or without sushi, i do have to admit the price is right…stephan…ps; and to the manager i still voted; I LIKE IT…
