Blueberry Cream Gelato. Beautiful looking gelato with great blueberry flavor. The gelato had blueberries pureed into the base and there were also whole blueberries in the mix. My personal preference would be for a smoothly textured blueberry gelato with no fruit chunks, but that wouldn’t stop me from having this delicious gelato again. Chocolate, Candy & Gelato HEAVEN!. We discovered the Van Rixel brothers several years ago in their Taos establishment – and fell in love with their food creations. Since then, they’ve moved their headquarters to ABQ (very near our house – Yeah!) and still supply restaurants, etc. all over NM. Their chocolates are the best in town – as is their heavenly gelato. Don’t miss this source for hand made gourmet wonders.
