If you’re in Las Cruces, this is your goto place for burritos and donuts. It’s small, with few tables, so take out is the way to go. They have a great variety of quality burritos and related Mexican food, and some of the best pastries west of the Mississippi. Donuts are great, but try the apple fritters. They’re terrific, but go early because they sell out quick.

Bosa has great donuts but they also have some really good food as well! There BBQ burrito with coleslaw is delicious and there tamales are some of the best in town! It’s a great place to grab a quick bite and the the prices are very reasonable.

Where’s the cheese?. Bosa offers a wide variety of burritos with cheese; unfortunately, it has been my experience that Bosa forgets to put cheese in them. Consistently.

Apple Friters. Large sweet pastry. Bits of apple throughout. One is enough to share. Sticky, well worth the price. I want to get a dozen but my blood sugar levels prohibit that.

Great donuts. Stick with what they Do best. Not a place for anything else.

WINNER OF THE 2013 MR. SENSITIVE ALL-OUT DONUT COMPETITION. Simply put: the best donuts in town. Why go anywhere else if you are looking for donuts?****2017 UPDATE: Mr. Sensitive stopped by in the early morning to pick up a huge APPLE FRITTER AND A HUGE CHOCOLATE ECLAIR. Sooooooo fresh and soooo good! A+ all the way around!!!!***For its Mexican food….this place ranks 49th in the 2017 Mr. Sensitive rankings for the overall dining experience for Mexican food restaurants around town************** But…the donuts are outstanding.Bosa Donuts is a little nicer and roomier than it appears from the outside, but it is still a place for very casual dining only. Its parking lot seems always in need of repair. (This problem appears solved as of 2017.) Inside it is relatively clean and comfortable. The restrooms are o.k. Rate the ambiance at Bosa Donuts about a C…..o.k. but not thrilling. The people providing the service on the occasions when I’ve stopped in are uninspired to say the least. Expect no professionalism here. They are just going through the motions. Order at the counter and wait til your order is ready. Rate the service a C. It’s acceptable but nothing more. (The few times I stopped in in 2017 the service at the counter performed by a young woman was clearly better….and more pleasant.)Regarding their donuts: The APPLE FRITTERS and CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS are great….THE BEST IN TOWN hands down. Rate these donuts an A+. Good stuff. All the other donuts look real good as well. Bosa also offer burritos. They do have a very limited menu. In February 2014 Mr. Sensitive sampled their brisket burrito and their green chile meat burrito. Both were fairly large and reasonably prices. The brisket was good and included a little mayo and chopped cabbage (sort of a little coleslaw) to give it some crunch and a change of taste and texture. This was actually a nice touch and somewhat unique. I felt the brisket could have used some grilled onion, but the coleslaw did give it a nice flavor. Rate this burrito between a B and B+. Pretty good, but nothing fantastic. The green chile meat burrito featured a lot of beef cubes and some potato cubes. This burrito was very high on the heat scale….really spicy. The green chile flavor was not as prominent as in many other burritos around town, but the overall flavor was good. Although not an outstanding burrito it was pretty good, but not as good as the brisket burrito. Rate the green chile burrito about a B to B-. At the end of the day…..while BOSA DOES HAVE THE BEST DONUTS IN TOWN their burritos fall in the middle of the good range and are nothing unusual. Not bad but nothing too special. For the results of the great donut shootout see the review by Mr. Sensitive under Dunkin Donuts, a place that had its clock cleaned by Bosa. For a dining experience rate it TWO-AND-A-HALF STARS to THREE STARS….meaning, dining here is not exactly a thrilling experience. But, the donuts, especially the eclairs and fritters, are the best around. The Apple Fritter Mr. Sensitive sampled was THE BEST HE HAS EVER EATEN. GET THE DONUTS TO GO AND YOU’LL BE A HAPPY CAMPER. BOTTOM LINE: WILL I GO AGAIN? ONLY FOR THE DONUTS. (And in passing, no matter how much certain people urge you to do so, never pay attention to the Reader’s Choice awards when it comes to food in Las Cruces restaurants. No, never! Everyone in the know understands that that selection is made by people who stuff the ballot box, so to speak, usually at the behest of the restaurant itself. The results of the Reader’s Choice Awards in the Sun News are totally bogus and completely illegitimate…..based on no objective standards set by competent judges. Don’t fall for that crap! Numbers don’t mean much. If they did we would have to assume that McDonald’s has great burgers.)

Yuck!. I didnt think that there was any better donuts till I tasted La Fiesta Bakery on Valley Drive. They have the best donuts 3 years running going on 4. They have won the readers choice awards from the past 2 years going on 3! Delicious!!
